Penelope
Tuesdae (b. 1975), was born Jilian Penelope Janus. She left
her home in Cooperstown, NY, in 1992 to study opera at the
American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Manhattan. A
year later, as Penelope Tuesdae, she began performing in
nightclubs in NYC and Europe.

Lorain, Ohio, and taught English literature at Texas
Southern University and Howard University from 1955
until 1964, when she became an editor at Random House.
She published her first novel,
