Complicity-

an oblique
silky-as-sleep
finger-pointing
ball-of-yarn
neighbor word-

a strange word
that plagues and placates

throughout my history

History-

breadcrumbs-

another hissing snake-

another inscrutable
word

The occupation
was German

Bronislaw Sleszynski's
barn was tinder

I did
and I didn't
strike the match
